Sunday visit

We visited the Perez family today. We haven't done much because of work schedules and some health issues, but we decided since we had Memorial Day off we would head off to visit friends. Roman is usually sleepy by 7:00 pm, but Roman was completely wired until we left around 10:30 am. We tried to set out a sleeping area, but he was not having it.

Happy Mother's Day

Roman's school had a Mother's Day Tea this past Friday. It was very nice. Each class had a picnic table reserved with muffins and mother's day gifts made by the kids. Roman's class decorated a potted plant with finger paint and the teachers helped Roman stamp his handprint on a card. very cute! Stay tuned as the first picture shows, Roman needs a haircut!

Roman has a new cousin! His aunt Laura, uncle Fernando and cousin Amanda welcomed Felix to their family today. He is the 10th grandchild for Roman's maternal grandparents...

Happy Birthday!

Roman celebrated his first birthday with friends from his childcare class. We went over to his school during the afternoon snack, and surprised everyone with birthday cupcakes. We can't believe its been a year, we can still remember very clearly the first night after Roman was born. We had no clue what the next months would bring us. But most importantly, we had no idea of the joy Roman would bring to our lives!
