First Birthday Party!

Today was Roman's 1St Birthday Party. Although he was born on May 1st, we celebrated early Saturday afternoon at our neighborhood park. It was a blast. Roman had tons of fun with friends and families. His grandparents, aunt Patty and Uncle Juan and his family came into town to celebrate..

Roman is having a good time this week. He got over another stomach virus after Easter so he is alot happier. so are mamí and daddy!

Yes, we were determined to celebrate Easter with Roman even in the cold! Check out these pics of our cute Easter bunny.

He was not too happy when he came into the house. We think he started to feel sick soon after this.

Hoppin good time!

Today was Roman's child care program's easter egg hunt. We were invited to spend some time at school with his classmates and teachers. Parents had to bring plastic eggs filled with toddler snacks or toys. The eggs were hidden (or just placed on the ground of the playground in this case)

When we got to school, it was snack time. Fruit and juice were on the menu, which apparently Roman can eat in big chunks! Today was the first day we let Roman drink juice (watered down, of course!). He loved it! And we also learned he loves strawberries.

Here is enjoying the easter egg hunt, or us plopping him down near some eggs. He wasn't up for the challenge of crawling to look for eggs. We were happy to help him out. He really got stuck on these two eggs, while mamí had to fend off some of his classmates from collecting Roman's share... Ok.. mamí was nice about it....
